Adjust your workspace to fit your body with an ergonomics assessment—not just for office workers!

We offer personalized workplace ergonomics assessments optimized for your body, tasks, and work environment—from offices and classrooms to healthcare, aquaculture, logging, industrial sites, heavy equipment, and other hands-on work.

An in-person ergonomic assessment looks at a person’s work area, tasks, and equipment to find ways to make work more comfortable and safe. It can help improve posture, reduce discomfort, and lower the risk of work-related injuries. An assessment may be helpful for anyone experiencing pain at work, returning after an injury, or looking to improve their workstation.

During the assessment, our kinesiologist Julie, reviews the employee’s job duties, observe how they work, and checks their workstation, equipment, posture, and movements. She makess adjustments to existing equipment when possible and provides advice on any equipment that may need to be updated. Education on safe and comfortable work habits is also provided. A written report is then provided with a summary of the assessment and any recommended equipment.
